It's been raining on and off a lot in my city especially in the last 2 days. Today I noticed the thunder roaring louder than usual. I personally enjoy the sound of thunder. I always have. I recall a moment in time, about 10 years ago. It was pouring raining and I was weeping in prayer and I wondered if God could hear me or rather was he listening and then suddenly I heard a loud roll of thunder. Made me think of the title of this book I loved in middle school called "Roll of thunder hear my cry" I always loved the title of the book. The book itself is good too but the title is so poetic. I had even attempted to write a poem with the same title as a teenager but I've since lost all record of it.    But what is it with me and the sound of thunder? Adam was made in the image of God and was given dominion over all things on the face of the earth, The book of Genesis describes how God saw that it wasn’t good for man to be alone. We know he wasn't literally alone because he dwelt among the beast of the field but perhaps the LORD perceived Adam being alone in his heart. Like, what good is a fresh well of water, if there is no one around to drink from it? When God created the heavens and the earth, he could have stopped there but he didn't. To fill in all emptiness. For the completion of his creation. So God caused Adam to go into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs and created a helper. Who we know as Eve. Adam took one look at her and said “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.  She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.” (Genesis 2:22) That sounds like poetry to me. I pray to be a woman after God's own heart. I don't want the heart of a spade that plays games to get their way because Jesus told us that he is the way. So if he's the way then that means our way isn't the way to go and sometimes getting our way isn't what's for the best. I just wish to be so close to him that i become a mirror who's pleased with it's reflection. A picture to capture his lovely essence; since i’ve asked this of the LORD, he’s been purifying and refining my core. get out your feelings and stand in the truth. feelings can keep you bound but the truth will set you free. now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with having feelings because God himself has feelings and he gives us the ability to feel for a reason but ask yourself if your feelings are going against the truth? His truth. Ask yourself has God confirmed how you feel with his living word? Has he confirmed this feeling through his creation? With any sort of declaration? Is it crystal clear or are you only seeking the things you want to hear? Do you go look for it or does it come to you? Does it meet you halfway? Is there a mutual exchange? Are you dancing in sync... to the rhythm of the beat or are you singing off key trying to be somewhere you shouldn't be?  Is there evident agreement or one sided treatment? Has this weakened you or has it strengthened you? Does this feeling empower you or cower you?  Could you even look at what you feel for in the face without shame? Caus...

When we love someone. When we truly love and honor them. We hang on their every word and learn them to speak their language. because the love in us wishes to communicate effectively, to understand them. to connect with them. it's how we grow closer to them.  of course a writer would say their first love language is words but the words mean nothing without the connection. the words must be felt. they can't just be stated on paper or spoken in the air. there must be tangible evidence, a heart to heart alignment that confirms the love spoken.  sometimes, as much as i write, i don't always have the words. i become so overstimulated at times. there are times what is inside me, overwhelm me and shut me up completely. so i just have to wait until it all settles in nicely and that is when God clears me and reveals to me...the words to write, to speak, to truly mean. © truly.sincerelyy  and this scripture reminds me that if I love the LORD like I say I do them I must always rememb...

How many times does it have to be said for people to believe it? The bible is not like any other book. It's the book of all books, the word of all words but more than that. It's alive. It's God speaking. It's his expression and him using his vessels of creation to do it. When you reject the word of God, you are rejecting Jesus. Just as when Jesus dwelt among us, those who rejected Jesus, rejected God himself. Can people not see the link? It's all connected. You don't accept one but reject the other. You don't accept the father and reject the son. They are one. All these smart people out here can't figure out that 3 is one? But to fully receive one, you must receive all 3. God, the son AND the holy spirit. How can you say you truly believe in God but deny his power?  The first step to believing his power is believing his word and how do we receive a record of his words from God who is spirit and not flesh? Watched a sermon today about rejection and interesting enough, I had planned on writing something about this because rejection is the root of all brokenness, it seems. Some people don't take rejection well and causes them to do evil but really it just backfires. It's self destructive. As a woman, I've witnessed this in men, who will get angry when they don't get what they want from a woman. But that's not to say women don't have this issue too. But there two types of rejection. You have the people who get rejection for no good reason,( like Jesus was rejected for being the light of the earth) and then you have the people who get rejected due to their  pride. (Like the devil who tried to position himself in the same position of the LORD our God). rejection due to them trying to put themselves in places they have no business being. God is about order and honor. When you cross lines, surely you'll get rejected.  But the devil took it too far, we have the choice...

The book of Hosea is a must read, with urgency but more than just read the words on the pages, truly receive, and eat the bread of life and you’ll be satisfied. The great falling away is happening before our very eyes and the LORD is calling for us (people who know the word but abandon the word for the world) to repent. And just to add, you don’t have to know the bible front to back to know his words. You know his commandments, what he hates and what is an abomination to him, that is enough. God’s word is written on our hearts and it’s only a realization once we come across it and finally read but it was something we always knew. Not so much the details but the principle. He is calling his people because he has something to say but answering isn’t where it stops. Once he tells you what he is calling for, what will you do? Don’t say you know and don’t do because yes his grace is sufficient but he knows when pride has become an idol, even as a believer. It’s pride that separates us from ...

Let me just be real here, I never heard of this term until recently but this is what I gather so far. “Kingdom spouse” is a term used in the Christian community to describe a God sent union between man and woman to edify and glorify the KINGDOM of God. Hence the term: Kingdom. Essentially, two individuals who are divinely brought together to unite as one to carry out the will of God in harmony. I worded the definition myself, so it might be a little off but I hope you get my point. God certainly does align and assign people, helpmates, friends, mentors and spouses into our lives. So, I believe that although the term isn’t used in the bible, the concept is biblical but if we’re not careful the enemy can even deceive well-meaning Christians in their journey. So many prophetic words about kingdom spouses these days and I wonder if the LORD could really be speaking to someone specifically in such a general way. I just watched a clip of pastor Keion Henderson who told a woman on the stage during church service, to be silent because she was hollering and crying during a time of Holy Spirit breakthrough and I wanted to speak on this because I've seen this so many time before and my spirit discerns these are evil spirits that seek to interrupt, disrupt the flow and to stop what the Holy Spirit is trying to do in the room. It's not the crying and the hollering that was the problem, it was the timing. I was just talking to a friend of mine about this before I knew about this clip by the way, and I was saying how I believe people with evil spirits in them have bad timing and are covertly defiant of Godly authority.   The bad timing is them being loud when the room is silent. It's them being silent when everyone is instructed by the holy spirit to praise and worship. They do the opposite of what is instructed, they cross boundaries, they talk more than they listen, spiritually rebellious....

the kindest words i've heard in a very long time and from someone i love very much. i cherish every bit of kindness shown to me because it hugs and kisses my heart. And just know I will return what I receive. I don't receive anything good and keep it to myself. and excuse me as i quote myself from a poem i recently wrote  but I believe these words were inspired by God himself.  His light is your light and your light is mine  and every little of light combined, makes the whole world shine. ©

I heard somebody say this earlier today and I loved how she said it, it was poetic and prophetic even . it's been a very rainy day in my city and i have been hearing thundering sounds all throughout the day and I've been spending time in the presence of the LORD reading his word. Studying, worshiping, writing and praying. The rain isn't a delay, it isn't stopping anything. If I gotta dance in the rain, so be it. But I will dance, I will sing, I will write, I will praise, i will do anything for the love of my life.  So don't let the rain stop you, let it wash you, let it water your seed and tomorrow when the sun returns, you will reap what you've sown.  this song is so lovely to me. 

 to read, to receive and so it shall soon come to pass.  Isaiah 61.  ✨ "The day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."  (verse 3 but I urge you to read the entire chapter to fully receive the word from the LORD.) Psalms 30:4-6: Sing praise to the Lord, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment. His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. Psalms 126:5-6 :"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying a seed to sow will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them." encouraging song that will forever have a special place in my heart.

(Genesis 1:3)   and it felt so right, from the very first time i ever laid eyes on such a beautiful sight.  I just can’t help myself, couldn’t look away if i tried. i saw it and wanted it to be mine.  i’m always looking forward and toward the light. It draws me in, it’s calling my name. And I'm calling back. “The Glory! Here I am.  I want to be  one  with you. Show me your ways, like how you turn night into day.  Like when you brighten my day.  but this is not just any kind of light. not the glitz and glam type light. not decorative lights, not artificial light but  true light . not a flashlight but an everlasting  flickering flame. better than any light bulb over the brain. a glowing essence that pumps power directly through the veins.The kind of light that doesn't blind you but shines through.The kind of light you never knew but yet feels so familiar to you. ©trulysincerelyy

a beast that grits its teeth while it sleeps. pride doesn’t say grace before it eats. crushing the bones and swallowing them whole without chewing the meat.  bloodthirsty to drink the wine of the weak.   pride, while in the midst of his feast,  never once considered: that you are what you eat. © truly.sincerelyy 

this candle smells amazing.  

sometimes love is restraint.  little to no pressure, near faint.  like the ink on a page, that ceases to bleed between the lines. so we use our pens gently,  carefully, delicately. words written on fresh sheets of paper,  a blank canvas, a clean surface.  sometimes we hurt the ones we love  the most and not on purpose.   all this tension i was born into,  made me heavy-handed.  i apologize in advance.  i pray that you understand.  i used to love only with my bare hands. grace freed me from the constant need  to taste, touch, and see. there’s peace in just letting love be.  let this love flourish without rush,  with a patient anticipation. love does not require a grand display.  sometimes love is standing and knowing it’s place.           © truly.sincerelyy
