For God so loved 🕊️
Adam was made in the image of God and was given dominion over all things
on the face of the earth, The book of Genesis describes how God saw that it wasn’t
good for man to be alone. We know he wasn't literally alone because he dwelt among the beast of the field but perhaps the LORD perceived Adam being alone in his heart. Like, what good is a fresh well of water, if there is no one around to drink from it? When God created the heavens and the earth, he could have stopped there but he didn't. To fill in all emptiness. For the completion of his creation.
So God caused Adam to go into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs
and created a helper. Who we know as Eve. Adam took one look at her and said “This is now bone of my
bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.”
(Genesis 2:22) That sounds like poetry to me. And couldn’t help but notice
the number (2) here. Chapter (2). Verses (22). (2) of the same kind. 1st man was made, then woman
was made (2)nd. And he added (2) letters to the original word “Man”.
God shows his love by sending
a helper. A deliverer, A Savior. How beautiful is that.? And it also reminds me
that God knows our needs, even when we aren’t aware of it. Adam didn’t know he
would need Eve but once he got her, oh how he loved her. And although Adam was able to give love to all of creation surrounding him, God saw there was something he needed within. Connection, conversation, companionship. The intimacy between a man and
a woman joins the Mind, body and spirit. For us to experience love in its fullness we must be unified.

For God so loved his son Adam that he created Eve
For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten
son.
