The Virtuous Woman πŸ’Ž (Proverbs 31)

"Who can find a virtuous wife?  For her worth is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband safely trusts her;  So he will have no lack of gain.  She does him good and not evil All the days of her life.  She seeks wool and flax and willingly works with her hands.  She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar.  She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household,  And a portion for her maidservants.  She considers a field and buys it;  From her profits, she plants a vineyard.  She girds herself with strength and strengthens her arms.  She perceives that her merchandise is good,  And her lamp does not go out by night.  She stretches out her hands to the distaff,  And her hand holds the spindle. She extends her hand to the poor,  Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.  She is not afraid of snow for her household,  For all her household is clothed with scar...

Don’t forget to give thanks

I was reading the story in the bible about the ten lepers who Jesus healed. The story can be found in Luke 17:11-19. The ten men cried out to Jesus asking him for his mercy. And Just like that, Jesus healed all ten of the men. But out of the ten, only one returned to Jesus, fell to his face at his feet, and gave thanks. Only one out of the ten. And then Jesus being Jesus, goes on to say: “ Were there not ten men cleansed? Where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And then he proceeded to say “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well. ” That speaks volumes. So much to take from this passage. First things first, how merciful is our LORD and Savior who already knew before he healed these men that they would go and leave without saying thank you and never going out to witness what Jesus did for them? Now true enough, the passage does not say anything about them not being witnesses once they leave but it's safe to assu...

Don't count them out: Welcome them home!

He called me out of the darkness. People counted me out. The world and the church but guess who never did? my dearly beloved JESUS and we must be more like Jesus and not like anyone else. Everybody thinks they are right but if we are not exhibiting the love of Christ, we are all wrong. Having a form of godliness but denying the power is inadvertently giving the devil credit for everything. always assuming that the devil is behind everything. Demonizing everything. never considering the fact that GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS HIS BELOVED BEGOTTEN SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT is sovereign. Is outsmarting the devil and his demons by using those who are in the midst of their darkness to be the light in those spaces.  God is calling the most unlikely people out of their dry places. Yes, some people are phony, double-minded and hypocrites. The lost sheep must be protected from the ravenous wolves; they are lost but can be found by not counting them out but welcoming them home. You have people who tru...
