Don't count them out: Welcome them home!
He called me out of the darkness. People counted me out. The world and the church but guess who never did? my dearly beloved JESUS and we must be more like Jesus and not like anyone else. Everybody thinks they are right but if we are not exhibiting the love of Christ, we are all wrong. Having a form of godliness but denying the power is inadvertently giving the devil credit for everything. always assuming that the devil is behind everything. Demonizing everything. never considering the fact that GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS HIS BELOVED BEGOTTEN SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT is sovereign. Is outsmarting the devil and his demons by using those who are in the midst of their darkness to be the light in those spaces. God is calling the most unlikely people out of their dry places. Yes, some people are phony, double-minded and hypocrites. The lost sheep must be protected from the ravenous wolves; they are lost but can be found by not counting them out but welcoming them home. You have people who truly are on a path in seeking the love of the LORD and they have to start from somewhere. When I was a little infant Christian (and I’m still young might I add), I didn’t know the proper way and I’m still learning. So I’m being corrected constantly but just because something isn’t done perfectly doesn’t mean it isn’t from the heart, we all have to start somewhere. Keep in mind that starting out on this faith walk, counterfeit doctrine and influences come rushing in before the real truth is revealed and sets in. Let us not forget that His mercy endures FOREVER! (Psalm 118) *You never know what God is up to and who he is using to do it. I do see that he's busy calling his children out of darkness into the light and it’s not my place to count them out but to draw them in, and welcome them home.
Christian, do we want to be more like the prodigal son’s father whose son was lost once he was found he rejoiced and gave him a warm welcome or are you the Christian that feels like the prodigal son doesn’t deserve the warm embrace from our father because why? Is this how Jesus loves, Is this what Jesus would do? The father in that parable represents GOD. And who was he pleased with and who showed themselves to be not so righteous after all? Jesus also referred to this when he talks about the parable of the workers in the vineyard. It’s not our works but our hearts. God’s arms are big enough to embrace us all.
