pride IS…

a beast that grits its teeth while it sleeps.
pride doesn’t say grace before it eats.
crushing the bones and swallowing them whole without chewing the meat. 
bloodthirsty to drink the wine of the weak. 

pride, while in the midst of his feast, 

never once considered:

that you are what you eat.

Thinking out loud: Kingdom Spouses

Let me just be real here, I never heard of this term until recently but this is what I gather so far. “Kingdom spouse” is a term used in the Christian community to describe a God sent union between man and woman to edify and glorify the KINGDOM of God. Hence the term: Kingdom. Essentially, two individuals who are divinely brought together to unite as one to carry out the will of God in harmony. I worded the definition myself, so it might be a little off but I hope you get my point. God certainly does align and assign people, helpmates, friends, mentors and spouses into our lives. So, I believe that although the term isn’t used in the bible, the concept is biblical but if we’re not careful the enemy can even deceive well-meaning Christians in their journey.
