The living word & the number 3

How many times does it have to be said for people to believe it? The bible is not like any other book. It's the book of all books, the word of all words but more than that. It's alive. It's God speaking. It's his expression and him using his vessels of creation to do it. When you reject the word of God, you are rejecting Jesus. Just as when Jesus dwelt among us, those who rejected Jesus, rejected God himself. Can people not see the link? It's all connected. You don't accept one but reject the other. You don't accept the father and reject the son. They are one. All these smart people out here can't figure out that 3 is one? But to fully receive one, you must receive all 3. God, the son AND the holy spirit. How can you say you truly believe in God but deny his power? 


The first step to believing his power is believing his word and how do we receive a record of his words from God who is spirit and not flesh? Through the bible. Yet people still insist the bible is written from the mind of man. As if a man had the ability to come up with such scripture. I am not denying there are false versions of the bible but where there is a lie, the truth must be present. Consider the fact that since truth cannot be destroyed, that perhaps false versions of the bible exist to discredit the validity of the living word. How do you know what the true word of God is? Well, what has always remained? What stands the test of time? Even when false doctrine starts coming into the mix, what seems to connect with the soul? Our creator has made us to connect with truth but the truth is rejected when you become disconnected from your soul and ultimately, your creator. Just as those before us didn't even know Jesus was the Messiah when he walked this earth, still they don't know, why? Because to know is to believe in not just one part but all three. 


The one who loves you the most is the one who gives you life, saves your life and preserves your life.  And not just once but twice. Remember that. And preservation is not spoiling you, flattering you, telling you everything you want to hear. Giving you candy when you need a full balanced meal to nourish the body. Well the word of God nourishes our entire being. Mind, body and soul. Oh there goes three again. The bible may not be an easy pill to swallow at times but it's the medicine we need to heal our affliction caused by the fall of creation.

even though that song is secular, i believe God can be glorified in the lyrics and that is the love he put in us. the kind of love this song talks about is the very love God himself put in us and his love can't be measured only expressed . we express our love for each other but let us love God the way we love love itself. even the repetitive cycle of the instrumental. it sounds like a circle, a cycle, over and over again. even the album artwork is a circle. So if you listen to the lyrics to the song, that is how God loves us so. It's constant, ongoing, everlasting, no beginning, no end, without time, forever, until it always happens and until the impossible occurs. because the only thing that is for sure is.... HE will be loving you, always...

Thinking out loud: Kingdom Spouses

Let me just be real here, I never heard of this term until recently but this is what I gather so far. “Kingdom spouse” is a term used in the Christian community to describe a God sent union between man and woman to edify and glorify the KINGDOM of God.
