My Dream: Sitting at his feet
I had a dream I wanted to share. I had this dream back in March of 2024. The scene started with me in someone's home, I wasn't sure how I got there and why I was there but I was observing my surroundings deciding if I was going to stay. In this environment, I noticed there were only women. A lot was going on. The women were going to and fro in like at a very fast pace. Seems like they were trying to hurry up and get ready for something or someone. The speed is what stood out. I wish I could truly explain but it almost seems supernatural. Anyway, getting to the other details of the dream. So I'm standing against the wall observing and a woman comes out of the bathroom and starts talking to me about the man of the house in a negative way. She was complaining about him. Saying bad things but I didn't believe her for some reason. It seemed she was seeking attention mainly. Then I recall telling her that she should talk directly to him about her issues instead of talking about them behind his back. Honestly, it made me feel uncomfortable. It seemed to have caused her to back off and be quiet. And then she just goes back into the bathroom. But then the scene changes angles. I'm now facing the front door. The man of the house walks in the front door with the biggest smile and the brightest eyes. His face shone. I kid you not. All the women in the house came rushing towards him, greeting him and surrounding him. I didn't know who this man was at all but he seemed like someone important. but he announced he had to step out once more and he'd be right back. And as soon as his back turned, another woman walked out of a different bathroom. I noticed the bathrooms were placed on two opposite ends of the house. This young woman had walked out with a nasty attitude, Loud, foul-mouthed. And said terrible things about the man of the house. She seemed more angry than the first woman. I just remember feeling uneasy and disturbed by not just her words but the fact she intentionally waited until he walked out of the door to speak bad about him. but it seemed everyone was ignoring her or they couldn't see her. I tried to calm her down to reason with her and told her the same thing I told the first woman, to bring her issues to him directly. But as soon as the man of the house returns home and walks in the door, she is nowhere to be found. It's as if she disappeared in thin air. Crazy.
Still feeling bothered by what happened but now my focus shifts back to the man of the house. I was standing from a distance, still against the wall. I noticed the man still had a smile on his face but this time he seemed tired and happy to be home to relax. It looked to be 20-30 women rushing to get to him and just eager to talk to him but he's walking towards the living area, so he lays back on this couch, legs propped up. Not laying down but just reclining. Several of the women gathered around him on the couch and asked him all sorts of questions. I remember standing there thinking I wouldn't get to speak with him because I couldn’t get any closer to him with all these people in the way but I looked around and there was only room to sit at his feet, nobody was on the floor. So As soon as I sat down on the floor, his head turned to me and smiled and spoke to me. I had a knowing that he already knew what was happening in his house when he wasn't there and that he knew who I was even though I thought he didn't notice me before. I was thinking, who is this man? I felt he could read my thoughts. He looked kind of young but grown. anywhere between 30-40. Reserved and humble-spirited. Kind. Gentle. I was drawn. I just know I woke up while were talking and can't recall the conversation exactly. I couldn't help but wonder, did this man represent Jesus? I found bible scripture that really let me know God gave me this dream. Any dream involving Jesus is sweet to me.
"Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village [called Bethany], and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching. But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.” But the Lord replied to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:38-42)
