May the word of GOD strengthen you

So, you’ve had a bad day and can’t find anything good to say because every time you run, you trip and fall on your face and all those outside voices in that moment, may seem true but just know that you can’t believe every word spoken over you. The greatest gift anyone could ever give is truth, may the word of GOD strengthen you. 

Fragile yet full of promise. Finish what you started. The LORD is near to the broken hearted. Faith is a muscle made strong when the suffering is made long. Instruction, encouragement and wisdom and songs, words of power and transformation. The words of this world are foolish vanities, the emptiest calories one can consume, but the bread of life keeps you full, leaving no room. So, whenever you feel weakened and depleted, you hunger or thirst, may the word of GOD strengthen you. 

When you speak, speak a word wrapped in love with a bow of encouragement. Don’t wait for a special occasion or a time of celebration, do it when you see a need, do it when the spirit moves you too. You never know what your words have the power to do, when you let the word of GOD strengthen you. The prince of peace, spoke his peace to give us peace.  


 "And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things which ye have both learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you."  Philippians 4:7-9

Thinking out loud: Kingdom Spouses

Let me just be real here, I never heard of this term until recently but this is what I gather so far. “Kingdom spouse” is a term used in the Christian community to describe a God sent union between man and woman to edify and glorify the KINGDOM of God. Hence the term: Kingdom. Essentially, two individuals who are divinely brought together to unite as one to carry out the will of God in harmony. I worded the definition myself, so it might be a little off but I hope you get my point. God certainly does align and assign people, helpmates, friends, mentors and spouses into our lives.
